Your gifts are fickle, either bestowing luck or making merry.
ask-smokescreen replied to your post:Belle. What a /pleasure/ seeing you.
I am being genuine. Giving worthy heroes the luck they need feels good. I make no promises on the second one, though.
Of course not, why would I ever assume so.
mighty-megatron replied to your post “((Omg that ma just poped up after I submitted my ask pfft that was…”
Trickster. Do not use my name for your amusement. No, it’s my name.
*The Playful One may find the name’s true owner materialize before him in a crack of lightning, brandishing his sanguine blade.*
Do not make light of my warnings, Trickster. My sword is most hungry in times of peace.

Do you really want to play the dark energon game Smokescreen?
…
You despise me. The fact that you are suddenly being friendly is highly suspicious.
archer-knows-best replied to your post:
But how come these magnets don’t interfere with your brain module’s waves?
Our core processors are shielded from such forces- we each naturally emit an electromagnetic field strong enough to be detected by one another. Without the shielding, we couldn’t be in close proximity without experiencing interference, and small mechanisms like minibots and femmes would crash around their larger comrades. It would take something much more powerful to have an effect on a Cybertronian’s mind.
ask-smokescreen replied to your post:
So- hypothetically, if someone got stronger magnets, they could pull your eyebrows off? Interesting.
Perhaps you’ve forgotten than any magnet that would attract my optic ridges would also attract the rest of my plating. And your own plating.
I do not want to be stuck to you for any length of time.
One of my Optimuses lives. That doesn’t make what you did suddenly perfectly fine.
A symbol of the old government? Optimus? Are you serious? Do you remember the old government at all?
What exactly are you trying to do? Rebuild the place? Get things to the vision Orion and Megatronus had? We were doing the exact same thing before you came along. You didn’t help anything, and you didn’t change anything, either.
We’ve all done things during the war we’re not proud of. But you haven’t been doing a good job making up for it. In fact, it doesn’t look to me like you’ve made up for it at all. Are you doing anything differently?
Now. That’s the keyword, right? I’ll get settled in, and then arrested, probably.
Do you remember it at all? You imprisoned my entire fleet. They were only allowed any sort of freedom at all when they played along and feigned loyalty to the mechs that stripped them of their weapons systems and left them defenseless. If any of you had had the mind to shoot them, they could have done nothing. They had to escape from you. Is that just?
I understand if you don’t believe me. You have no reason to. But I am in need of mecha who are ready and able to lend a servo regardless of faction. We cannot afford to alienate half of the remaining population, hunting Autobots down. You will not be arrested or killed unless you directly threaten us first.
That’s what we were trying to do before you offlined Optimus! Did you think about offering any constructive criticism? We could’ve listened- reasoned. We were trying to go on and repair the whole place- I know I was trying to make it less- tension-y for everyone.
The war was over. But you must’ve been so mad that you didn’t come out on top, and had to have everything to yourself. I keep hearing that I act like a sparkling, but I didn’t go around offlining mechs with a little temper tantrum because of being a sore loser.
It’s not like anything I say’ll change what happens at this point. In fact, I’m gonna guess you’ll still do the exact opposite of anything I suggest.
Maybe it’s my home world, but it’s not like I’m ever going to get to go back to it, right? I know where I’m not wanted. Pretty sure I’d be offlined on the spot. Or a prisoner. Or both.
Your Optimus lives. Do not forget that.
He had the chance to listen. He lost that chance. I played my part in the destruction of Cybertron, but I would rather rebuild it all from scratch than allow a symbol of the old government to continue his idealistic- *a deep vent* I hate him. I have done things in the name of that hatred that I am not proud of. I will never be able to change them, but I can at least make up for it by following through.to deliver the vision we fought for.
I have no reason to arrest or kill you now, unless you threaten the safety of the planet or its people. If you want the chance to make a difference you will be allowed.
