♥ *stares deadpan, quirking one eyebrow.*

Ever since the dark energon shard had pierced his spark chamber, Megatron had felt it in every receptor in his frame. A connection to something mind-bendingly powerful, just out of his grasp. It could be no other than Unicron himself. It thrilled him to wield the power of a god. He wondered sometimes if this was how Optimus felt, carrying the Matrix.

The visions were something he hadn’t been prepared for. A resounding voice, and images racing through his mind, distorted in violent purples and reds. He saw entire worlds rent asunder, fire raining down, planets aligning.. but other things captured his attention. The Chaosbringer whispered his sweet lies, promising eternal glory in his victory, and the warrior standing over Optimus Prime as a mountain erupted behind them. The Unmaker himself beckoned him, but to where, he could not tell.

The day came when his battle with Optimus mimicked exactly what Megatron had seen, and Unicron’s presence around and within him became stronger than ever. He felt the pulse of a spark so much greater than his own and knew that it was time. The warlord cleaned himself off, went to the mountaintop he had been shown, and there offered himself. The tainted spark within him glowed red and he knew that this was his true destiny.

“I call on you as my Lord and Master, Oh Mighty Unicron!”

“Who would speak to me?”

“Your servant most humble, Megatron, Leader of the Decepticons, and your very Herald, the one who wielded the Dark Energon which binds us, to awaken you once again! The prophecy has been fulfilled! It is only the beginning of what we will accomplish together, for you will rule this planet and those who walk upon it through me!”

“Prideful fool. How dare you think yourself capable of summoning my life force. I rise because I have deemed it my time!" It was a more than a slap to the face. Finally here was a higher power that had called to him alone, lit its flames within his spark. Surely this had happened for a reason!

"Master, I did not mean to overstep-”

“SILENCE, worm! I have no need of your lowly assistance.”

Megatron fell to his knees. The proud gladiator begged.

“Please my lord, I exist only to serve you!"

”-What is this I sense, the taint of Primus, here?“ The warlord rose again, sensing an opportunity.

"That is Optimus, the last of the Primes: our sworn enemy.”

“You profess loyalty to me, yet allow a disciple of Primus to live?!”

“I will destroy him for you! His screams will be heard!"

"I grow weary of your prattle. Surely if you had the power to destroy this Prime, you would have done so already. I will deal with him myself.”

The glow faded, replaced by something much darker. First Cybertron… and now cast aside by its counterpart. Unicron’s very blood flowed through his veins… A wave of anger surged within Megatron, the likes of which he hadn’t felt in millenia. If the Chaosbringer would not accept him, then he would feel this mortal’s wrath.

“I SHALL NOT BE DENIED!”

*he steps forward and lifts his hand, palm forward. A harsh blast of energy sends you backward into your throne. His optics are cold with rage.* Teach your feline protoform how to handle weapons safely, or I will. This is the only warning you will receive.

*Being without a throne at the moment, Megatron is thrown back into the wall, cracking it. It takes him a mere few nanokliks to recover, sword drawn and charging back at the offending god, ready to slice him in two.*

*His only response is an enraged battle cry. Forgive him, as by throwing him into a wall with no warning you have activated his “raging against the gods” mode. The words about Ravage go unheard.*

Get ur optics fixed.

ask-unicron:

mightymegatron:

They are not broken, insolent fool. Replacement coloration filters are hard to come by without the proper resources.

Arrogant though you are, you did address my questions, so I will give you an option. New optical filters, or enough red energon to power your troops for a day. I reward those who assist me.

I will not accept anything giving willingly by you, Unicron. And I will certainly never give it to my soldiers.

So, great one, indulge me for a moment. Why have you not terminated your second in command? You would not tolerate such treachery from any other, yet you bend over backwards to find excuses to spare him.

ask-unicron:

mightymegatron:

*This Unicron is calling him great one, even if it may be ironically, and is conversing with him in a casual manner.  Forgive him if he’s a bit more cocky than usual.*

He is of use to me, as are all of my soldiers. Unlike you, I possess the ability to maintain control over my troops, even when they misbehave.

Yes…indeed. I’m a bit new to this leadership thing…so, is threat of death effective at controlling your soldiers? It seems just killing them leaves you with a mess to clean up and no one to work for you.

*New to it…?*

My soldiers obey my command because they believe in my power.

And they have seen what I am capable of.
