/Smokescreen’s finally waking up, gently nudging Megatron./ Have you had any energon yet? How are you feeling today? Do you want to watch a movie?

He’s only had intravenous energon, the surgeon having to rig him up as he sat on the floor. There was no moving the bulk of his usual body, let alone several tons more. Megatron hadn’t stopped him. He also didn’t remember powering down, but he must have at some point.

“… Like I could sleep another five cycles. No… No movies. You said that you wanted to… talk about something.”

Megatron? How’re you feeling right now? Do you need energon or anything? Do you wanna watch something? I’m not leaving your side until you feel better.

Megatron has slipped down from his place clinging to the edge of a medial berth to kneeling on the floor, resting against it. He had insisted that they put Soundwave on the berth beside him, even though…

The warlord cringes, trying to hold himself together. He can’t bring himself to answer at the moment, text will have to suffice.

::Nothing anyone can give me.::

Censere? Can I ask you about a couple of things? Like about those statues, and- I guess, about how we can get home. And what we could do if Megatron can’t be put back in his own body. Are there alternatives? Just in case?

He’s talking far more these last few days than he has in the last century. The questions keep being a surprise, but they’re nice all the same.

“That certainly is a lot, but I’ll do my best. Ahem.”

“The statues represent all of the mechs who were alive when I first began building here. If the base is empty, it means they’ve passed on. As for how you can get home… how did you get here, anyway? Bumblebee said it was some kind of portal, could you open it from here?”

“As for if he can’t be put back… His spark is weak, but perhaps you could see what a medic could do to supplement him. If he gets strong enough again, another body could be built for him, with a blank brainpan to imprint. He might lose some memories, but at least he would be able to walk again if something happens to his original frame.”

Megsmegsmegsmegsmegs- how are you feeling? Have you been taking care of yourself? When did you last see a medic? Do you need anything? I’m not suspicious.

Megatron stands vigil as Bumblebee is repaired. The medic had a little trouble at first but despite their universal differences, their anatomy is similar enough that progress is safe. He isn’t touching Bee’s neural net just in case.

“Don’t concern yourself with me. Why do you ask?”
